about

Plaisirs is Québecois words to the tune Robert Burns used for Ye Banks & Braes; I got them from the late Scots/Montreal singer Kirk MacGeachy, who says he got them from Yves Lambert, who in turn says he got them from some vieux monsieur in Saint-Kekpar. Boys' Lament (aka 72nd Highlanders' Farewell To Aberdeen) is a pipe tune Patrick first heard from Barde, who recorded it on their first album
